It’s a bit surprising that more people are talking about this, but almost a year ago the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi and Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City stopped notarizing/ authenticating many documents intended for use in Vietnam, significantly complicating the work permit process for American teachers.
